Try out our gear, learn some new techniques, and ask questions before the snow falls!
Skijoring is a winter sport that combines cross-country skiing and dog-power. It's a cooperative sport that employs the athletic ability of both dog and skier.
Join instructors from K9 Powered Sports this fall on dryland, at a beginner-level class and learn the basics needed for canicross/skijoring including equipment, drills, training, and where to go for all the dog powered sports around the Twin Cities. Please bring any equipment you already have including a dog harness/ bungee line, human belt, and we’ll check for safety and offer advice or alternatives for purchase.
Maximum of one dog per handler. Must have a 6ft standard leash. Equipment will also be available for use the day of, and can be purchased with Jack and the Pack at the end of the session if you’re interested.
Reservations are required 24 hours prior to the event.
